A great way to relax and create space to think, manage stress, explore, reframe and focus new mindsets.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state that we easily and regularly go in and out of in daily life – often without realising: for example that sense of “zoning out” when daydreaming, or being totally engrossed in a film or performance and losing track of time.

The resulting “trances” are simply altered states of consciousness and focused attention that we allow ourselves to experience.

In Hypnotherapy the therapist guides the clients to deeper levels of trance than they would normally achieve on their own, and in doing so can release hidden potential to explore awarenesses, reframe how situations are viewed, and deliver therapeutic change that can be life altering.

Example applications:

  • Improved confidence and self-esteem

  • Stress reduction

  • Manage anxiety and panic episodes

  • Dealing with fears, phobias and trauma

  • Pain relief or coping with illness and medical treatment

  • Public speaking

  • Sleep better

  • Improve chances of success in IVF

  • Improving performance and creativity

  • Profound relaxation

Hypnotherapy is a safe, effective and pleasant complimentary therapy which can be used to relax and explore new and desired mindsets. It does not replace medical treatment or attention that may be required from your doctor or psychiatrist (and a brief medical history will be taken to ensure that this approach is appropriate).

It is also important to understand that the hypnotherapist does not have any “control” whatsoever over the client. Clients will only be able to make the changes they want, have discussed and are therefore appropriate.

Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy are much misunderstood by many (it’s not a stage show!) and professional practitioners always hold a full discussion before working with clients to ensure a proper understanding and questions answered.
